Prof. Tullio Scrimali is a Physician, Psychiatrist, Psychotherapist, Child Neuropsychiatrist and Pharmacologist.

Founder and Rector of the ALETEIA Academy of Music Therapy.

He is an expert in Biofeedback, Neurofeedback and Transcranial Neurotherapy, founder and director of the ALETEIA School of Cognitive Psychotherapy and the ALETEIA Institute for Therapeutic Cannabis.

He is the author of more than 180 scientific articles, published in six foreign languages, and 10 monographs, two of which are in English and are used by specialists worldwide.

For many years he has worked in several specialist areas of psychosomatic medicine, including psychosomatic gastroenterology (irritable bowel syndrome, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis), psychosomatic cardiology (hypertension and post-acute myocardial infarction), psycho-oncology, psychosomatic rheumatology (especially fibromyalgia) and pulmonology (especially bronchial asthma).

Prof. Scrimali developed a series of psychophysiological instruments for use in research and clinical practice. Of particular interest is the MindLAB Set, which was patented and extensively tested in Italy and abroad.

MindLAB Set is an integrated system for Applied Neuroscience, developed at the research laboratories of the Istituto Superiore per le Scienze Cognitive in Enna.

MindLAB Set is designed to monitor exosomatic electrodermal activity and enables instrumental psychodiagnostic assessment as well as emotional self-regulation techniques such as Psychofeedback, Mindfulness and Synchronic Mind Training.

Research and Innovation

NegEnt

Prof. Scrimali developed and patented NegEnt, an original plant-based medicinal product based on Terpenolol, a supermolecule that he developed and patented (Scrimali, 2026), active in many psychiatric and psychosomatic disorders.

Terpenolol also exhibits anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties.

In Enna, he founded and currently directs a biotech pharmaceutical company, Herbal Neurocare, active in the development and commercialization of CE Medical Devices based on the Terpenolol supermolecule and Food Supplements.
